Because electrician certification courses are laser-focused on what you need, you're not going to be paying for electives that you'll never use. This already lowers the cost substantially. Also, many companies will pay for you to become a certified electrician as long as you go work for them for a set time once you have graduated. This means that studying and becoming an electrician could cost you little to no money out of pocket.

3. High pay

Once you have your electrician certification, you'll be able to get paid substantially above minimum wage. If you or someone you know has ever had to call an electrician to repair something, you are probably already aware of how much a skilled electrician can make. Despite this high pay, there are not nearly enough people becoming electricians to fill the demand for them. This means that you will not only get paid well where you are living now but you could move practically anywhere in the country and get comparatively high pay there as well.
